A legendary hero that you have herd tales of since you were a little kid. Blackblade earned his name from one of his first heroic feats when he set out to steal back the treassures of the old cult that once terrorised every town in this cluster with its nightly murderous raids and plundering, and to pay justice to its horrible cultist leader. Greadin returned as the sole surviver , and brought the evil enchanted weapon of the head cultist with him.
He told the people of his hometown , "This black sword that have served to strike fear in us all will from now on serv our purpous in good and in the quest for peace in my hand"
He has ever since brought the mighty sword on his numerous legendary quests to challenge the enemy of the free people.
Greadin Blackblade is perhaps most known for turning the demon of Argos back and chasing him to hell and back , just to make sure the creature were never to return, or for the time when he tricked an elven spellcaster to give away her youth to ensure the good growth of the crops for the comming 15 years, even though very few beleave that particular tale is true.
He is now biding his time, with a place in the governours court at Merid, where he enjoi enourmous respect and trust 69 years old, with a tired body but a wise mind of a veteran.
He has a mansion at the far east of the Merid docs where he, his Elven wife and his halfelven son lives.

You hear pirats and seasoned sailors speak of this place from time to time, over a bottle of rum when they bragg and lie about everything else under the sky and beyond. Much of it is of course make beleave, but an unusual respect to this tale among them self exist and it is probably one a few of them accually beleave in. It is allso oddly consistant no matter who tells the tale on some points.
[shadow=grey,left,300]A foul foul place.. [/shadow] They say a long time ago the seafarers located an island far from any major landmass somewhere in the great sea that allmost allways was engulfed in thick fogg. It is agreed to be located somewhere in the equatorial region as it is described as a hot and humid place where deep swamps and tropical forest dominate the landscape.
Scums as hunted warlords and less scrupulous merchants sought this Island out through hearsay and rumors only available to the trusted ears of the initiates of secret guilds and other channels of that sort.
Over time the ever growing ports and chanty towns along the islands coast hosted everything that was uggly, banned in any other place or otherwise considered unacceptable. Thoose who tell of this place tell of endless streets of wooden bridges where merchants fight for space with naked hores, and bloody gladiator games as well as gamblings. Where torture and executions for entertainment competes with cultists rituals.
So bad was this place that not even the foulest of deitys praised it existance and it is said that in its worst hours the gods had enough and as is commonly understould, unless all agree gods will not intervene in mortal affairs to such great extent to avoid a war across the planes.
Regarding this Island they say, this was such a time when they all agreed.
Most pirats say that it was descided to let the local spirit of the island execute it , much to its delight. Quazahidaz the natur spirit of this forsaken land according to tales would let its plantgrowth go poisonous and grow like a deadly web over all that was man built and all was dead and still.
They say now no one knows the location of this island and that its surrounding fog is now poisiounous and foul in smell. Yet they say there be no place in heaven or on earth that would hold more forbidden treassures under the swampy plantweb that is now covering the dead civilization if it were to be found.
Tomling's Tombs (puppet mastery) One of the most popular lengends tied to this myth of the lost island is that of Hua Tomling. A small fat merchant and dabbler in the arcane. It is said that growing weary of his wife complaning about his many affairs with prostitutes spent all his nighly hours there after researcing for ways to controle and dominate people.
His quest is supposed to have taken him to many of the darker conrners in the world but reached its conclusion when he cut a deal with a demon. ...in progress
