This area is ment for different authors who wish to help with ideas and creating for the gameworld.
Sometimes specific things like villages, people, spells etc will be requested and will have its own requirements.
For general creations here are a few guidlines:
-Keep it lowpowered
As a rule nothing that shakes the balance of the world will even be concidered. Supermagical items , imortal legends massive armys or enourmous wealth. None of theese goes.
Deitys are not accepted, weaker spirits might be concidered.
The old and most powerfull things was created a long time ago.
(this belong to requested creations or the original authors )
-Get a feel for the world
Look at what is allready posted in the other sections, try to make sure the things you come up with would fit and could even excist withouth contradicting something else.
-Magic, beware...
Anything magical would have to be reviewed, unless it uses one of the lower level spells allready posted. The Magic of Nanoriath is different from most DnD worlds, there are no portals , no planar traveling in the normal sense, no automatic successes, no invonurability etc ..and magic items are rare.
Best avoid it alltogether if you are uncertain.
-The utter new and unherd of..
"hey, I just invented a new kind of elves"..."ok how about Vampires"
NO! Plain and simple no! (New races would be requested)
-Why?
Why is your creation cool?
Theese reasons are bad reasons:
>They are good and powerfull
>I want my player character to be/have it
>Because it could defeat the sorceress of Anonenosh
Theese are good reasons:
>I have this intressting idea that I think would add depth and a good twist to the settings.
>I love to create and write stuff
--
Here is a list of things allways wanted:
- Items
Weapon designs, armor clothings books. Any piece that is of ordinary and unmagical origin that still is original in its ways.
Theese things are what truly makes a world.
-Characters
Shopkeepers, sages, craftsmen, scouts..what have you. People that live in the world but are not nessescary the adventuring heroes we sing songs about but still makes an impact.
Be they simple farmers or veterans of war they all have a place in Nanoriath.
