The most adaptable and of most variations of all races in the world, humans thrive all over the lands despite their apparant weakness.
Easely corrupted and falling victims to simple diseases as well as letting them self be led astray by spirits and deitys as they seek meaning in their short lifes it is a wonder how they still remain dominant in so many regions of the world.
However, looking back into history as the race of men make the weakest of allyes, somehow the very bravest and most heroics of tasks ...you will find a human there against all hopes and reason ..there in the midst of all the shortcommings of men, you will find a hero.- Common MenThere are off course a very large variety of humans and mixes of any kind amongst the common men. Thoose mentioned here are the most dominant in the regions picked out for description. -Gangaerin- Theese common men are deascendants of the men of Gangalin on the Xammaran landmass. Commonly mixed with many nabouring tribes of both human and other races. They are of strong but not heavy built and tend towards light complexion with dark to mediumblond hair. The Gangaerin generally prefer cloth of fine but not overly decorater textile with bleak colors such as greyish blue or green. By tradition they are followers of Haegis and raise stone temples in her honor. The great city of Tarngath was founded by the Gangaerin and its cold stone architechture a legacy to their crafting. Gangaerin names:Naegrin, Wyrhinda, Faegrin, Gurnaem, Aida, Denoreth, Forloth, Sarin, Henhea, Augmar, Breagrin, Easte, EastaperBonus skills from culture: Knowledge (any one skill) 2 Favored class: Cleric, Fighter, Ranger, Rogue Unfavored class: Druid-Kelaethi- The men of Kela, the beeing beleaved to be this tribes founder and the one wich they devote most of their unworldly rites to. The Kelaethi have lived in the lower hillsides and vast open lands just south of the river Anonenna longer than any other human tribe currently in the area, and effectively live off the land as sheppards and farmers. They rarely settle near heavilly forested areas out of superstition and respect more than actual fear of what they refer to as "The Little People". This is their overall term for gnomes and elflings, but includes at conveniance dwarfs and even woodelves allthough most of them know better when they see one. It is a custom to honor the little people with gifts such as leaving the finest of the early harvest on stonetables and planting herbs near where the gnome homes are beleaved to be.
The Kelaethi are a little more compact than the norm of humanity and as a rule are of ruddy complexion. Their hair range from red to light redish brown. They are masters at leatherworking and accordingly dress so, together with woll or simple cloth wich they dye into colorfull patterns.
Simple gardens centered around a masive stone are set around their lands as a praise to Kela. They are of smaller built and wea long dark hair dyed to red or green tones and wear spars hide. Theese men have lived the same way since ancient times and none know the secrets of the forest as do they. The Urgna men pay respect to elven patons as well as lesser forest spirits that they say live in the streams, trees and beneath the ground. The Urgna are hunters and gatherers and form only small hidden societys in the shelter of the woods.Urgni names: Nilfroot, Urka, Ykenrin, Nigwood, Morkhus, Skugha, Blad, RootkvennaBonus skills from culture: Wilderness lore 2 Favored class: Barbarian, Druid Unfavored class: Cleric, Bard- Other Men-Eastrings-This is a uniterm of the nomad tribes east of Egina. -Southlings-This is a uniterm of the southern nations. The most common of theese have alot more human in their blood than elf, but the trace of elf is unmistakable. The beardless faces and a slender body. -Human Dwarfblood-Theese massive men are carrying a legacy of an acnient contact with the curin dwarfs. The remains are more humans than dwarf, but they still form their own societys on the mountainsides keeping many dwarven traditions. - -The Vanya, Valari and Valkyrias-In the Northern region and the depth of Nanoriath traces of a tribe can be found as ruins of great fortresses. Theese are the remains of the men of the North, the Vanyar , a race of high men that once lived here. They were the forbidden ones and the great allyes of the Faenahin, the elves of the woods as they both fought the great enemy for survival aeons ago. All that remain of theese men now is the tale of a dark sorceress in the area of Anonenosh and the never fading memory of their elven friends.
